ARRIVAL PROCEDURES
Car Drop-off
Students being dropped off at school need to arrive no earlier than 8:55 am in the Visitor Parking Lot. The parking lot entrance/exit is the first access point and is located near the gymnasium. Cars will drive next to the sidewalk, moving around towards the yellow chain, stop the car, drop their student(s), and loop back to the same exit, following the directional arrows. Students will enter through the front, main entrance.
If your student is arriving so that they will not be able to be in their assigned homeroom seat by 9:15 am, you will need to park in a defined parking spot and assist your student into the building to sign them in late via the front main entrance.
Bus Drop-off
Buses will enter the Staff Parking Lot via the center entrance and proceed along the sidewalk towards Channing Way Blvd. Students will be able to exit the bus at 8:55 am. and enter the building through door #13. Anyone buying breakfast should proceed directly to the cafeteria and then homeroom.
Students are expected to hang their jackets/coats in the cubbies upon entering the classroom.
DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Car Pick-up
Students being picked up at 3:45 pm. (the end of the school day) will exit the building via door #3 near the cafeteria at the Visitor Parking Lot. Cars will drive next to the sidewalk, moving around towards the yellow chain, stop the car, pick up their student(s), and loop back to the same exit, following the directional arrows. Students are not allowed in another car without written permission from the legal guardian and the building principals.
If you are picking up your student(s) earlier than typical dismissal, you need to park in a defined parking spot, enter the building through the front, main entrance, and sign your student(s) out.
Bus Pick-up
Buses will enter the Staff Parking Lot via the center entrance and proceed along the sidewalk towards Channing Way Blvd. Students will be able to exit the building at 3:45 pm via the front, main door and load onto their assigned bus. Students are not allowed on any other bus without written permission from the legal guardian and the building principals.
